Curved Architectural Glass
Ordinary glass forming and processing technologies have many shortcomings when it comes to satisfying increasingly complex demands and expectations of the modern architectural designs. In order to satisfy the needs of the most demanding projects, BCE has developed and patented its BestCurve Glass Bending Technology.
The main principle of the BestCurve is to prevent any part of the mould from touching the glass while the bending process occurs. This is achieved while bending is carried out at a high temperature and in a computer-controlled concentration of thermal radiation on deep curves.
BestCurve enables BCE to produce the most complex curved glass panels with outstanding optical properties even for extra-large dimensions.

Ultra Safe Laminated Glass
Safelamex® is a structural glass laminated with SentryGlas® interlayer. Safelamex® offers ultimate strength, safety, durability and appearance.
The SentryGlas® Ionoplast interlayer is five times stronger and 100 times stiffer than conventional laminating materials. With this kind of strength the glass can be a more active structural element for architectural applications, opening up possibilities in design that didn't exist a few short years ago. With all of its strength, Safelamex® retains its clarity – even after years of service. And, unlike other interlayers, Safelamex® is much less vulnerable to moisture exposure or yellowing over time.
Protective Water Repellent Coating
BCE's NanoShield® is a patented protective coating that fills in and covers the microscopic craters on the outer layers of glass, giving it long-lasting resistance to water build-up and increased scratch resistance. This procedure creates a cross-linked bond (permanent chemical bond) that greatly reduces maintenance on glass surfaces.
Electrically Switchable Privacy Glass
Intima® Glass can allow users to control the amount of light and heat passing through with the press of a button, it changes from transparent to translucent partially blocking light while maintaining a clear view of what lies behind the window. Intima® Glass offers users the choice between privacy and visibility and even communication: in its off state of translucency, Intima® Glass constitutes an ideal back-projection screen.
Curved and Flat Insulated Glass
Insulating Glass units are hermetically sealed combinations of two or more lites of glass separated by a dry airspace.
BCE IsoTec® Insulated glass units with warm edge super spacer improve thermal performance, significantly reducing heating and air conditioning costs. Insulated glass units also reduce interior condensation in cold climates.
Curved and Flat Laminated Safety Glass
BCE Laminated Glass is a high performance safety glass which holds together in the event of breakage.
Laminated safety glass is made of at least two parts of curved or flat safety glass with interlayers of PVB, SG, TPU, EVA. The interlayers hold the assembly together in the event of breakage.
BCE is one of the few companies in the world that manufacture the laminated glass panels in ISO Class 7 humidity controlled clean room. This allows us to process and package glass panels in a contamination free environment.
Curved and Flat Thermally Toughened Glass
Toughened glass, also known as tempered glass, is manufactured using a fast heating and quenching process. The glass is heated up to 640ºC, curved by oven rollers, and then quenched or cooled rapidly.
This process introduces stresses in the glass, improving its overall material strength.
Heat strengthened glass is very similar and produced in the same oven, but quenched more slowly.
The difference of BCE tempered is the flatness of its surfaces, the outstanding quality of the edges plus the low anisotropy and low number of roller waves.
