All-Glass Laminates (AGL)
AGL are clear security laminates, which is composed of several layers of float glass laminated with polyvinyl butyral (PVB). They provide ballistical, blast and Forced entry protection with Low-Spall property. All-Glass Laminates can be produced in No-Spall property by implementing Anti-Spall Film.
Glass Clad Polycarbonate Laminates (GCPL)
Laminated composite of asymmetrical glass clad polycarbonate is especially designed to provide protection against different levels of ballistic threat, from 9mm handgun to NATO armor piercing rifle, at the minimum possible thickness.
Polycarbonate is one of the toughest clear plastics, having 250 times the impact strength of glass and is used toward the rear of the laminate to flex and absorb the energy of the bullet. The rear face is always exposed polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant coating and therefore produces no spalling when impacted. BCE Polycarbonate Laminates, offers the same level of bullet resistance as other types of clear security laminates with a weight reduction of 40%. Moreover, it provides high level of light transmission and better sight.
Glass-Ionomer Laminates (GIL)
GIL is laminate, made of several layers of float glass laminated by ionoplast interlayer. The BCE Ionoplast interlayer is five times stronger and 100 times stiffer than conventional laminating materials. And, unlike other interlayers, BCE Ionoplast interlayer is much less vulnerable to moisture exposure or yellowing over time. With this kind of strength the glass can be a more active structural element for architectural applications.
Stronger and more moisture-resistant than alternative interlayers such as PVB, BCE Ionoplast is a growing choice in marine glazing.
It offers excellent Forced Entry, blast and ballistic protection, and stability against solar heat.GIL can be designed as no-spall laminate, by applying laminated or clad security film on the protected face.
Symmetrical Glass Clad Polycarbonate Laminates (SGCPL)
SGCP is laminated composite of symmetrical glass clad polycarbonate or laminated polycarbonate, especially designed for FE and blast protection.
